Nendaz Tourisme is proud to support the next generation of Swiss skiers and would like to warmly congratulate its young local athletes on their outstanding performances during the 2024-2025 winter season. Thanks to their determination, talent and passion, they have carried our region's colours high on the slopes of Switzerland and beyond.

Alan Bornet excelled in freestyle with an impressive season: winner of a FIS round in Grindelwald, Swiss Adult Champion, Swiss U18 Champion, 1st in the overall Swiss ranking, 6th in the European Gold Cup in Laax and 22nd in the World Championship in St-Moritz. An exceptional achievement for this young athlete, who is already among the best and will have the privilege of joining Swiss Ski's C squad next winter.

In alpine skiing, Juliette Fournier also had a remarkable season, with several podium finishes in international races: 1st place in the FIS race at Meiringen, 2nd place at La Plagne (FR), 2nd in the NJR at Gressoney (ITA), 3rd at Schilthorn, and a superb 4th place at the EYOF (European Youth Olympic Festival) in Georgia. She also finished in the top 10 in giant slalom and top 15 in slalom at the Swiss Elite Championships. Her excellent results have earned her a place in Swiss Ski's C squad - congratulations to her !

Léa Lathion distinguished herself in telemark skiing with top performances at the Junior World Championships: 2nd in sprint, 2nd in parallel, 3rd in team parallel, as well as 2nd place in team parallel at the Elite World Championships. These results confirm her place among the world's best in her category.

Loïc Dubois, a ski-mountaineering specialist, took part in several World Cup events this season. He came 7th in Villars, 9th in Schladming and 13th in the final overall World Cup sprint ranking. Despite some bad luck at the World Championships in Morgins (a broken ski pole), he returns with valuable experience that will undoubtedly help him bounce back next winter.

Lucie Glassey had a great season in downhill skiing, with two top 10 finishes in FIS races at Engelberg, a 5th place in the FIS NJR at Gressoney (Italy), and several other promising results. She finished in the national top 8 for her age group in both slalom and giant slalom, a remarkable performance that shows her full potential.

Marie Délèze completed her first FIS season with perseverance and passion, taking part in 45 races across Switzerland and Italy. Despite ups and downs and a shortened end to the season due to back pain, she can be proud of her 16 top 30s, 5 top 10s and, above all, a podium finish in Leukerbad (2nd place). She showed her fighting spirit and considerably improved her technical skills in giant slalom and slalom.

As for Mathieu Glassey, he distinguished himself by becoming Swiss U18 Champion in Giant Slalom and Super-G, Swiss U18 Vice-Champion in Slalom, and by winning the overall classification of the Swiss Brack Cup. Thanks to these excellent results, he too has joined the Swiss Ski C -squad, a well-deserved achievement !

These young athletes represent the future of skiing in Valais and Switzerland. Nendaz Tourisme is honoured to accompany them on their journey, and wishes them every success in their future careers.
