Saturday, February 13th, from 11am, come to Nendaz Snowpark for the Funky Fluo Carnival contest. Old school atmosphere, barbecue facilities available (bring your own meat) and prizes for the best tricks and the craziest fancy-dress (one-piece fluorescent ski uniform is recommended) !

Before participating in the contest, it is recommended to learn the following slang :

Saut écart : legs spread out to the maximum before puting them back together to land.

 

Vrill (twist) : quarter turn of the skis on the side, then put them back forward.

 

Daffy : one leg forward, one behind, to put skis in V. 

 

Cosaque : jump in which the skier put arms and ski sticks forward to bring them as far as possible between the legs.

Gratte-dos : arms stretched out, the back of skis comes to touch the shoulders.

Hélicoptère : ancestor of the three six, the helicopter consists in doing a whole turn in the air by staying straight, skis tight and arms spreadj out.
