International Rally of the Valais(25.10.2012)

53rd International Car Rally of the Valais region from the 25th to the 27th of October 2012. Nendaz is hosting one of the special legs of this autumn’s big racing event. An exciting course awaits drivers and spectators alike.

With more than 50 editions under its belt, the most important event in Swiss motor sport has always been faithful to a well established philosophy. It consists of working relentlessly to improve in all areas and to offer a rally that meets everybody's expectations. The heaps of upgrades the RIV has benefitted from all along its rich history have never lightened the organising team's motivation to move forward. Climbing up the rungs towards the top of the rally hierarchy, the Rallye du Valais has joined the Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) in 2007 and 2008, before it was included in the FIA European Rally Championship in 2009, a series which has been the antechamber of the World Championship for many events of the Old Continent

Because of this event and the crossing of vehicles in the sector Siviez-Planchouet-Lavantier, we don't recommend you to walk on the path "Bisse du Milieu - Bisse Vieux".
