Bisse de Chervé - Cleuson dam

A magnificent high altitude walk along a bisse where you will feel like you are up in the clouds, spectacular and literally flat all the way. It is the highest of all the 8 'bisses' in the Nendaz district. Even though there is no longer water flowing within its banks, it largely makes up for that with its sumptuous views of the dam and its turquoise water and the valley below. The Cleuson dam is a work of art in it own rights with its 87m in height and its 420m in width. The dam wall can be visited during the summer months.

A little geological time

From Siviez, you can reach the "Japanese Gardens" in less than an hour, named like this because of its resemblance to a landscaped garden. This magnificient natural site  is absolutely unique in the region. Its panoramic view and the stream meandering through its meadows make it a favourite spot for children.
