Bleusy Chapel

Architecture & monuments

On the footpath following the bisse du Milieu, when arriving in the mayens du Bleusy, the Bleusy chapel invites walkers to take a short break.

We do not know exactly when the construction of the Bleusy chapel began, but a parish bulletin dated back to 1928 says: "From this year onwards, Monseigneur de Sion forbids Mass, in the present Bleusy chapel. We will have to think about building a new one for next year. "In 1929, the building was rebuilt but it would take many years to finish due to the lack of funds and motivation.

St. Theresa of the Infant Jesus is the patron saint of the place.
