Departing from Nendaz Tourisme, take the footpath next to the bakery «La Nendette» and then, in the bend of the main road, follow the route de l'Antenne on the left.

At the first junction, walk down the Chemin des Bornes towards the old village of Haute-Nendaz. Take the underpass leading to the school and continue down past the Chapel of Saint-Michel, which dates back to 1499. Continue along the Chemin Vieux towards the village of Sornard, which you reach after crossing the main road a second time.

Follow the Chemin de la Poya. Cross the main road a third and final time and finish your descent in Basse-Nendaz, reaching the parish church, where you can visit the crypt.

Your walk continues up the Chemin de Sonville located on the right a few metres from the village shop. Follow this small road above Basse-Nendaz, then on to Saclentse. This climb will take you about 30 minutes. Pass through this charming village with its flowery balconies. You can take a break at the Sapin Blanc café-restaurant before continuing on your way. Don't miss the chapel, dedicated to Saint Joseph.

Continue along the narrow road until you reach the St. Joseph's picnic shelter, which is located on a hairpin bend. From here you can easily reach the resort by following the tarmac road and the yellow signposts for "Haute-Nendaz".
