At the end of the small valley of Tortin, at the summit of a very beautiful glacial moraine, the “Japanese garden”, so called because of its resemblance to a tended garden, is a source of delight to walkers. This magnificent natural site is totally unique in the region and possesses an ecosystem all of its own. The view over the region is superb and the water that runs down the numerous meanders makes it a much appreciated place by families.
So where does this thin trickle of water come from in this small pane then? There is no glacier found upstream - the source comes up from within the seam of the rocks.
