NV Remontées mécaniques give ski tourers the opportunity to enjoy this sport on the Tracouet slope every Wednesday evening until 21h30 between January 6th and March 10th, 2021 (subject to snow conditions).
Departing from the bottom of the gondola in Haute-Nendaz, the itinerary leads you to Tracouet at 2'200 metres above sea level, after a 3.7 kilometres ascent and a variation in altitude of 820 metres. Due to Covid-19, the restaurant at the summit is closed but the restrooms remain open.
The downhill return is done via the same ski run as slope grooming is delayed on Wednesday evening and you can, therefore, safely ski back down (no descent possible via the gondola).
You must wear a headlamp.
Ski tourers take this route at their own risk.
Attention : Last descent at 21h30. Please note that on other evenings of the week (as well as after 21h30 on Wednesday evening), the slopes are closed, and it is strictly forbidden to access them due to the dangers regarding the ski slope grooming machinery.
