Trail running course 24 contoursLe départ de la balade se situe à l'entrée de Siviez sur la gauche. Empruntez le sentier qui traverse la Printse, rivière qui prend sa source en fond de vallée sur les hauteurs du barrage de Cleuson.
Après le pont, prenez à gauche, en direction de Planchouet. Cette première descente vous mènera entre les mélèzes et les sapins jusqu'à une clairière d'où vous pourrez apercevoir le village de Planchouet. Une fois arrivé sur la route goudronnée, suivez le balisage du Nendaz Trail «petit parcours». Après quelques mètres de course, vous passerez devant deux restaurants et la chapelle de Planchouet construite en 1931.
Juste après celle-ci, prenez la route à droite : c'est là que débutent les 24 contours. Suivez la route jusqu'au panneau de randonnée situé sur la gauche qui vous fera emprunter un sentier de forêt un peu plus escarpé. Au terme des contours, vous arriverez au milieu d'une clairière. Continuez votre montée jusqu'à la route.
Prenez ensuite à droite en direction de Siviez en suivant le balisage du Nendaz Trail «petit parcours». La descente se fait sur un sentier plus large jusqu'aux Chottes de Novelly.

It is also the starting point to reach Mont-Fort, a summit that is easily accessible throughout the summer and the winter thanks to the ski lifts
At the far end of the valley stands the Cleuson dam wall, built between 1947 and 1950. 410 metres long at the top and 87 metres high, it can hold up to 20 million m3 of water.
In winter, more than 400 kilometres of slopes await you, as well as several ski touring and snowshoeing routes and a sledge run. The Siviez snow garden allows the very young to discover their first joys of skiing.
In summer, the ski slopes give way to the mountain pastures, which are the preferred holiday destination for the Hérens breed of cows. You can also discover a gorgeous wooden chapel surrounded by woodland, built in 1930. This chapel still hosts a number of celebrations during the summer.

In May 1930, work began by cutting down the trees necessary for its construction. The foundations caused problems as the rock had to be mined, but from one Sunday to the next, the building took shape and on 9 August 1931, Dean Bourban blessed the chapel.
After some finishing work, Father Joseph Fournier, the instigator of the project, was able to close the accounts, with a total construction cost of CHF 7,045.
Inside statues of the Virgin Mary, St. Anthony, St. Maurice and St. Nicholas can be admired.
