Briey

Towns & villages

Stop by the Brieytchon restaurant, which offers delicious brasserie dishes.
Then enjoy various walks in a relaxing and authentic setting.

The must-see of this village is undoubtedly the chapel of Bouillet restored a few years ago and dating from 1844. It is a landmark of the region, its name comes from the patois word "petit bassin" (small basin), which collects the water of a spring flowing under the altar.

After discovering the chapel and its Way of the Cross, if you wish to penetrate further into the region, walk along the Bisse de Briey. This bisse, which takes its water from the other side of the Val d'Anniviers, starts at the chapel of Bouillet and ends at the cover of Foncouverte.

In Briey, during the summer, you can also visit the medieval inspired garden proposed by Isabelle Main. This garden where ancient medicinal plants are cultivated in an idyllic setting will certainly seduce you by its charm.
For those who like group activities, the Paintball of Briey will satisfy your desires.
