An illustrated concert by Les Voyageuses

Concerts & festivals

Three women, panpipes, a piano and some watercolours. This surprising combination will take you on a musical and artistic journey.

Event has ended

In January 2024, pan flutist Jeanne Gollut and pianist Victoria Harmandjieva teamed up with watercolour artist Pauline Berger to create an original classical concert accessible to a wide audience. The Trio Les Voyageuses was thus formed.

The trio's programme is festive, attractive, colourful and virtuosic. With freshness and audacity, Jeanne and Victoria revisit a variety of works, without hesitating to mix genres. Classical melodies, passionate tangos and traditional songs blend harmoniously with the watercolours painted simultaneously by Pauline.

The unexpected set-up - camera and live projection of the paintings behind the musicians - creates a backdrop that magnifies the musical ambience in colour. In this way, the paintbrushes become the concert's third instrument.
