Born and currently living in Nendaz, Emilie grew up in the heart of the Valais Alps, surrounded by mountains, traditions and rural life. At the age of 25, she is training to become a mountain guide at the school in Saint-Jean, in the Val d’Anniviers, with a view to turning her passion into her profession.
She is deeply attached to her region and loves sharing not only its landscapes but also its traditions and stories. Hérens cattle hold a very special place in her life: her dad breeds them with great passion and they are an integral part of family life.
In summer, head out to meet the cows in the mountain pastures and discover life in the mountains. In winter, step inside the barn to get up close to the cows, find out about a farmer’s daily life, and make the most of the experience with an aperitif or a delicious raclette.
Throughout the seasons, Emilie also guides you on mountain walks and snowshoe excursions in Nendaz and the surrounding area, so you can discover the region's scenery and hidden gems.
With Emilie, every outing is an invitation to discover an authentic Valais – a region renowned for its culinary delights and deeply rooted in its traditions.
