To allow as many riders as possible to participate, Nendaz Freeride is also organising a 1* competition, open to all. First to sign up, first served, no need for FWT Qualifier or FWTJ points.

The runs are executed on a slope to yet be selected in the Plan du Fou sector. Riders must complete their run departing from the Plan du Fou in the order of the starting list, Riders are greeted by Nendaz Freeride staff and a cameraman who briefs them, films them.

Athletes may complete a maximum of two runs (conditions permitting) and submit a single run to the jury. The jury meets after the event to determine the rankings.
