As part of the 'Six Pompes Summer Tour' , we are hosting in Nendaz the show « Plouf et Replouf ».

They're not anti-feminists: but at a time when we're talking about parity, is it possible for men to practice a discipline reserved for women ? This tandem, in its athletic guise, is first and foremost a clownish duo. In this synchronized performance, they appear as swimmers (with matching swimsuits and bathing caps) at the edge of a 1 m-diameter paddling pool. The way they move and the restricted space of the pool can only announce and emphasize their absurdity.

The troupe 'Super Super' approaches their work through strong, non-realistic forms. There's no question of trends or schools, but rather of seeking out the audience's spontaneous, simple and instinctive laughter. A smile or a twinkle in the eye resonates with the audience, and it's this sensitivity, full of gentleness and subtlety, that we want to reach. Humour is the troupe's way of talking about simple things, but also of asking questions about the world around us.
