The Gherla picnic place is located at the end of the route des Ecluses, not far from the Chaèdo outdoor swimming pool. It is equipped with a table and benches. Close by, visitors can enjoy the petanque pitch free of charge.

Just for the record, this place is called Gherla because the local authorities of Nendaz signed a friendship pact with this Romanian town in 1999. It has set up various mutual aid actions over the years. This place was named in 2009, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of this partnership.
