From the top of the Tracouet gondola, follow the mountain track down towards Prarion. When you reach the Balavaux cabin, take the small road on your left and pass nest to the cow shed. This narrow flat track crosses the Balavaux mountain pasture, where thousand-year-old Larch trees stand tall. After passing under the Prarion - Plan du Fou gondola, the path narrows and becomes steeper. Continue your ascent towards the Dents Rousses, the highest point of your hike.

From there, start continue downhill to the Tortin valley. On the way, take a break at the enchanting natural site of the Japanese Garden. From Tortin, descend to Siviez following the footpath along the Printse.
