Current health measures

At a national level
From the 1st of April, all restrictions and prohibitions are lifted at a national level. If necessary, the cantons can take further measures.

At a cantonal level
In view of the number of daily infections and the number of people hospitalized, the State Council has decided to maintain the obligation to wear a mask in health care facilities such as hospitals, clinics and nursing homes, as well as in residential care, at least until the 30th of April 2022. It also recommends this in all places where patients are present.

If symptoms occur

Self-isolation is no longer required for Covid-19 infections.
Individual responsibility remains the key. It is always recommended to perform a PCR or antigenic flow test if you have symptoms.
In case of symptoms or a positive test result, continue to observe the rules of hygiene and behaviour and avoid close contact with others to protect them.
If you are employed, refer to your employer's attendance arrangements, especially if you work in the health sector or with people at risk.
