This itinerary allows you to link Veysonnaz to Nendaz while following 2 bisses which are still in use for watering the crops. First you follow the Grand bisse de Vex from Veysonnaz to Planchouet, then the bisse Vieux all the way to Haute-Nendaz.

From Veysonnaz, follow the Grand Bisse de Vex until you reach Planchouet. The departure point is the yellow signpost, near the Veysonnaz gondola departure station. The bisse runs along the lower edge of the spruce forest and waters the mid-mountain pastures before disappearing into the forest for a few kilometres.
Once you arrive at Planchouet, you can stop for some refreshments or a bite to eat in one of the hamlet's three restaurants. There is also a charming wooden chapel nestled among the Larch trees.
To join the resort of Haute-Nendaz, follow the road for about 15 minutes until you reach the main road. Cross this road and find the departure point of the bisse Vieux just opposite. Enjoy the slightly downhill walk, by the water's edge.
