The departure of the bisse is located west of the Veysonnaz gondola departure station in the Botza forest. The path begins by crossing the heights of Veysonnaz and then the dry meadows above Clèbes before going into the forest for several kilometres. The end of the walk is in the hamlet of Planchouet, where the bisse takes its source. The return to Veysonnaz is along the same path as the outward walk.

At several points along the route you will encounter bridges or constructions that bear witness to the work that once had to be done to transport the water.

A thematic treasure hunt is also available along the bisse between Veysonnaz and Planchouet to make the walk more fun for children. Be careful, however, as the round trip is a little long for small children, so think about organizing your transport.
