You can reach the Tortin plateau astride your mountain bike or by using the chairlift equipped for transporting them. The starting point of the track towards Tortin is on your right when you arrive in Siviez, opposite the first buildings. This easy route runs up along the Hérens cow themed trail which is due to open in 2021. Children can have fun at the various posts while learning all about the life of the Hérens cows, emblematic breed of the Valais. A brochure explaining the trail is available at the ski lift ticket office at the far end of the Siviez car park. During your outing, keep your ears and eyes open as you may spot marmots or hear them whistling in the rocky slopes along the path.
