
Road closures and traffic disruptions – Grand Raid BCVS

Due to the Grand Raid BCVS, several traffic disruptions are expected in Nendaz this Saturday, 22 August. Bus services will be diverted and the Bisse du Milieu will be temporarily closed.
The Grand Raid BCVS will pass through Nendaz on Saturday, 22 August 2026, causing several traffic disruptions during the morning.
The Nendaz start will take place at 6:30 am on Route des Écluses. Disruptions in this area will be brief, lasting approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
The first riders coming from Verbier are expected in the La Péroua area at around 7:40 am. Roads affected by the race route will be closed to traffic from 7:30 am. The last participants are expected to pass at around 9:30 am.
During this period, Route des Argeys will be closed. Siviez will remain accessible via Route du Bleusy from La Crettaz, with traffic managed by the police.
PostBus services will also be diverted during the race. Passengers travelling to Siviez must take the bus from the La Crettaz stop.
The Bisse du Milieu will be closed during the race, approximately between 7:30 am and 9:30 am.
Anyone travelling during these hours is advised to plan their journey accordingly. For spectators, the gondola station square, where the refreshment point is located, is a good place to watch the riders pass by.
