In order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Tortin cow sheds in style, a grand summer cow fighting event is being organized in the summer of 2023. During this incredible event, dozens of Hérens cows of various categories and coming from all parts of the Valais will be at Tortin-Nendaz to fight for the title of Queen . The Queen of the 4 Vallées will be crowned during this truly festive occasion steeped in local tradition.

A cantine is being put up especially for the occasion where you can enjoy food and drinks on site.

7:30 THe cattle arrive at Tortin
7:45 Opening of the ticket sales office and the Siviez chairlift
9:30 Blessing of the cattle and beginning of the cow fights

13:30 Swiss wrestling demonstration with Romain Collaud

18:30 The cattle form the Tortin pasture are brought back to the cow sheds
19:30 Last chairlift ride down
