Charles-Frédéric Brun, nicknamed the Deserter, is an emblematic figure in the history of Nendaz and is being honoured from the 27th of August to the 7th of November at Nînd'Art. Trading his works for hot meals, he lived between Nendaz and the Val d'Hérens, hiding from the police until his death in 1871. Today, his original paintings can be seen in this exhibition, 150 years after his passing.
