From the top of the Tracouet gondola, head towards the Lac Noir. From there, continue on the path towards the Balavaux cabin. Your walk continues through the gigantic, century-old Larch trees, located in the region of Isérables. A walkway has been built so that you can get close to the 'King of Balavaux', the largest Larch tree in Europe.

After this fascinating encounter, continue to the restaurant 'Le Chalet des Alpes'. Next to it is a small path leading to the Bisse de Saxon.

Follow this legendary bisse winding through the forest. It leads you to the Pra da Dzeu meadow, an idyllic place much appreciated by walkers for its calm and its spectacular panoramic view. From this point, return to the resort via the gouille d'Ouché and les Rairettes where a pretty little chapel awaits you.
